Title: Mk 8 Audio upgrade Option, For Info and interest

I have bought a Golf Clubsport with standard stereo.

It will cost £1300 retro fit Harman Karden

It is about £3500 for a mega fit JL with Audison premium kit fitted.

The rear camera was just under £500 fitted coded to the head unit.

Yeah the headunit makes not a lot of difference these days and adds complexity/problems.

Audison is supposed to be good - there was a guy on here with a Mk8 GTD who had it done, apparently really good.

Price is ouch tho...

Probably better than the OEM HK though, which is probably unavailable anyway.

I have had a better quote for a full Harman Kardon fit with full software upgrade for £900.

That seems quite cheap.

I wonder how it is enabled on the infotainment unit?

Quality aftermarket speaker will be better then the HK stuff for sure
