Help needed on ACC
« on: 24 October 2012, 13:54 »
A fierce debate is raging on the "other side". I need to garner more opinions and hopefully support. I have money riding on this...

In my opinion, ACC does NOT affect the throttle response, just steering weight and dampers.

Read the thread and let me know what you think.

By definition it doesn't? Adaptive chassis control? I had it on my Roc and I don't recall it altering the throttle response but I'm willing to proved wrong.

Well that's two of you on my side. Any more opinions?

Do many of you have the ACC option?

Not according to any VW catalogue for the mk6 golf since it came out or the technical document from 09 off VW or the  electronics trade magazine article about it from the company who designed it.
Also page 196 of the manual

Sorry I don't get over there very much as got sick of wasting time on people who could answer their own question if  they just RTFM. (thats not a reply to this thread just the reason I don't go over there much now.)
