bought some Uniroyal MSPlus77 winter m&s tyres for under £50 a corner in old school 195/50x15 size (I did have to buy some wheels to fit them but it should drive well when the cold comes!)

Wired up the heated seat switches so they now illuminate just a shame they don't have the looms or actual heated seats  :grin: ordered a plug and play loom for the bora vents as i was feeling lazy not to make my own  :laugh:

dimmer and headlight adj switch arrived along with bora vent loom and my bora vents arrived at 07.20am this morning,swapped my plate from the mk3 now paperwork all sorted

Today's minor effort involved removing the nasty scratched VW badges off my 2 keys and replacing them with a nice new pair of GTI bagdes as found here...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110969832908?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Brought them right up to date...front and rear brakes to do sometime this week when I can be bothered!!

Used doubled sided sticky pads to put my front wheel arch by on my mk3 gti due to the dreaded rust.

Fitted my oem virtually new backbox which i got cheap :smiley: much better now
ordered front track control arms,arb bushes and dogbone mount bush my job for the weekend  :laugh:

Refitted heater box (after flap repair) and managed to break the plastic peg that one of the cables hooks to  :cry:
Discovered that the wipers don't turn off once switched on. Thought I was going to have spring £52 for a new stalk til I searched here and swapped the relay. All good now.
