Fully aware of the oil leak (that's what you get for being impatient and ordering "OEM Quality" rocker gaskets).  :rolleyes:

Also the aux belt does need changing. Fridays job. :)

Fitted the 100w bulbs and loom, and lowered it another thread all round.

rang the vw specialist today to see if my mk2 was ready its been in since friday and still not running right

this could be a very expensive month :sick: :sick:

pleasantly suprised that my mk2 it now running after the hall sender wiring was replaced   :grin:

the specialists had it for a week and only charged me £50.00  :shocked:

thanks to the guys at Auto Volks Birkenhead ....top work   :smug:

had my gti mopped and waxed today by a friend who is a valeter for the local ford dealership :wink: here is the golf before the work started




then the work started with the mopp and the cutting compound to get rid of all the small scratches and swirlls in the painwork :smiley:





and finally the wax went on we used AUTO GLYM HIGH DEFINITION WAX wich has a lot of carnuba wax in it a very nice deep shine :cool:

Today, I changed the engine oil and filter, fuel filter and air filter.

The jubilee clip for the fuel fiter needed to be cut out as the nut was rusted, so there was no way of undoing it, so fitted a new one.

Also used a large jubilee clip to re secure the cat heat sheild.

same happend to mine, 2 wrap ties sorted it  :smiley:
