I'm getting turborevs smic then stage 2 rtech map hopefully in Jan. only getting stage 2 so can get after cat sensor deleted, can't delete as have APR map already. Would just fit smic without map if light didn't keep coming on. But stage 2 ok with smic at end of day only useful power if tracking car.

Side mount is probably ok unless you're racing where you'll be on full boost so frequent that the charged air is always hot and needs cooling.

On the roads, you're likely to not get the charge consistantly too hot.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

I have read on a few forums that it is a good idea with a SMIC to drill the inner arch liner behind it, so it lets some of the hot air out / through.

and keep the funnel on the front to direct the air in too

Side mount is probably ok unless you're racing where you'll be on full boost so frequent that the charged air is always hot and needs cooling.

On the roads, you're likely to not get the charge consistantly too hot.

The difference between the two is being able to sustain the power, SMIC won't be able to keep the charge temps down for as long as the FMIC does, including when you're not on boost
