hi

How easy is it to fit an electric arial to a 1994 Mk3?, do VW do one? has anyone fitted one? only asking as kids round my area still love to rip them off  :(

Dont think it would be to difficult to fit.  But why do you want one, it is not to difficult to fit a bee sting ariel if you are intressted in doing one.

i was after an elec arial for my MK3, but was told they dont do them, because of the design of the stub and how they fit on the wing!!

If you do find one that fit, please let us know.

I have considered a Bee sting, look good but too much messing around (experiance from my MK1&2's), time to have a look at the options again.

I have an electric arial on my Mk3.  GSF Car Parts do one with a MK3 fitting kit. Link Below:

Click on Online Shop then search my model/part number.

Part numbers are 89240 for the mast (?6.95), and 89262 for the fitting kit (?6.38).  I think you have to buy both - might want to check though.

well i fitted the aerial, had no real problems. Electric Aerial and fixing kit ?35 not bad.
