What have you done to your MK 7 today ?

Ticked over the 30k





 mark so I braved the 3 degree weather to clean it. Mulling over a colour change of the alloys as I hate the matte finish (I wanted satin...), so open to suggestions thinking a
dark silver or light gold as a wild card.

Any idea how to get rid of those "dimples"that develop in the leather seats?
It takes the look of them.
I'm approaching 40K in mine.

I do, so as we all know the mk7 leather came from factory saggy. So I'm planning on waiting to the 35k-40k mile mark then I'll take the seats and get them 're-stuffed', i.e take the seat base cover off, add some foam on top of the existing base to bring them back to being fully tight.

I've had this done in the past and it was £150 for the two front seats, additionally it'll add some more comfort to the front seats.

I'll also do the outer side bolsters at the same time.

Went and picked my wheels and spoiler up today after their trip from DE.

Dealer did contact me about two weeks ago to say the alloy plus tyre package was no longer being offered which only came to light after they placed the order - no big loss and the total cost was adjusted.

Now to coat them and fit some rubber.

Look great, picking your own tyres is more beneficial when you're fussy with tyres! Hopefully the adjustment was significant!

I have been busy putting the car back together after the slave cylinder failed. Just a few more bits to put in such as the intake pipework and gear linkage.

Snow and night time stopped play unfortunately.
