So what next?
« on: 22 August 2004, 17:00 »
Ok so my mk2 is nearly finished.

All i need is some G60 arches, Porsche wheel adaptors, tyres for the design 90's and some smoked out window tints (or even very very light tints)

Im just not happy with the front end. I was thinking of buying a Rallye front end but this is dying on me and is too common and expensive.

I was thinking of keeping the red surround grille as im trying to keep the car standard looking coz it looks beefy and then add some crystal headlamps,

....or to buy a chromed out single headlamp grille?

Any suggestions?

tints, how about some chromolux glass  8)

if you went all crystal up front, indicators fogs and all, you are nearly rallye front money.

choices, choices :)

here's some inspiration:

chromolux windows...

How much would they cost?

Hmmm would these look good? Ive painted the 'B' pillar black to blend in with tints so i might give that a miss.

about 150-200 for a set but yeah like you say, as you have painted that section better to stick to tints

your car looks really good with the 4 lamp front end. would be tempted to keep it all fairly standard up front  :)
