Golf mk7 / Thermostat Failed after 9 years - Not a cheap fix!

 :laugh:  So, on my way to work & I got the 4000 max engine speed on the dash & suddenly I had the power of the old 1.2 55ps polo's  :cry:

Scanned it & found P00B700 static fault.  The Thermostat wanted to open to 149.55, my actual value read at 4!

Discovered that I needed to have the whole waterpump replaced with the thermostat.£££  After reading on the forum I think my Gti is one of the longest to last on it's Original pump & when inspected it wasn't leaking!?!  Never had coolant drop in all this time.

Yeah I cant wait,have a look on L.Foster Autos in Birmingham it is still listed on their cars for sale even though I am collecting it on Saturday, it was a previous Dream Car Giveaway prize with 14 grands worth of extras on it,the Forged HRE wheels are stupidly expensive.

It’s all good. I wouldn’t stop you putting them on, just don’t want someone misrepresenting a car to you for extra cash that isn’t deserved. Happy motoring, you’ll love the clubsport.

Ah right my bad,I assumed all Clubsport GTi's 2021 onwards were 45 models, I understand now that explains why the 45 decals aren't there.I am picking it up this weekend.

It’s a faff.
I don’t know if it’s an iPhone thing or an old age thing but boy do I have a fight on my hands trying to get on here.
