Thanks JV!

thought it was about time i started a project thread so here goes. bought this golf back in june after spending a gd few months trying to find a good condition 16v mk2. I previously owned another tornado red mk2 (1.6 carb) and absolutly loved it untill it was forced to car heaven. a few things need doing to the old girl, both window regulators had gone, the font bumber mount has broken, and slight exhuast blow. so heres wot i come home with: (sorry for a couple of poor pics, blame the nokia!)

so one it got home it was time to go shopping!  I wanted to go for the dub/down and out look with this mk2 so first things first was the debaged single lamp grill, and then it had to be coilovers and the wheels it come with were very poor so fitted an old set of 15x7 compomotive wheels just for now

go them all fitted just before a dartford meet so had a lil photo session

and found an orginal mk2 down my road so it had to be done

out with the old, in with the stretch!!

neg camber was a must!!

but all in all im very pleased with the look of these wheels and especialy the looks u get and chavs going "corr bruv there deep" just makes my chuckle!!

so next on the list is a set of g60 arches, thin side stripes and sum seal covers, oh and a genuine front bumper!!  also toying with the idea of a raylle front end?? hmmm.....
