Good work with exhaust. My new 3door had rust under the window, sorted it though so all good now. Was a bit of a pain to get the screen out (it cracked) I hope you have better look or knowledge. Vf is how far away?

Not sure petrol cars will be allowed on the road by then.

Good idea... just don't think I have a short one to try doing that.   However I wonder that because it was driven when some were loose it may have put everything on the pi55.  I think I'm going to try taking them all out and line it up again.  Use a small screwdriver to check the hole is clear and then try by putting this bolt in first...

Cool, coming to a golf forum near you soon!

Cheers, yeah the under side of the car is looking oily and greasy now but have found where the oil is coming from.... looks like an easy fix.  Back corner of the cam cover.

  Thanks.... I don't know what came over me but when I saw a roll at work I got flashbacks LL's mk3 when it was rough paint wise so I  kind of copied him.  Might do the sides before the show!   This is so I don't have to worry about the side trim that's missing in places.  I have a full set but no clips and don't want water going in the holes.
