Jimble has done it to his car and I asked about the bulbs. Hopefully should be in this link with pics and then links for ebay. Not sure if you can get the LEDs from halfords though.

My GTD definitely doesn't have a glove box light.  I thought it was weird that it didn't.  I presume it should??

Maybe bulb not fitted in error (assuming you have the lens fitment) or has blown before you got it.

The vanity ones are correct... 39mm. I fitted mine last night. The boot one takes 42mm but the glove box is a push in sort of sidelight bulb not same shape as other ones.

I never looked for one tbh, I had a blue sidelight bulb that I stuck in it, had it lying around workshop

Do we trust these bulbs from ebay?

I had LED number plate bulbs from ebay in my Mk5 which ended up blowing and having to have the fault code reset by VW.

Perhaps they didn't like the damp conditions but still makes me wonder if these are worth it?
