Got the mk 1 back today only cost 200 to pass the mot when they said it would cost near 400! well happy will need a new clutch but i am a very happy person for now! have a good weeked guys! :cool:

Good to hear it mate, always nice when it works out cheaper than expected . . . at least I guess it must be nice but hasnt happened to me yet!!!  :sad:

What you need doing to pass MOT that cost 200.00 but they said would be 400.00?

thanks everyone im happy as! basically cus im at uni and my car was on my drive which is on a hill and not in my garage for the last 2 months the clutch plate siezed and basically the clutch cable came away from the car body and also put a crack in it so it needed to be welded to pass the mot! it also needed the cluth cable replaceing as well as a new clutch! but they didnt change the clutch in the end even tho it will need replacing soon so it only cost half the price plus they are generally nice guys and wont charge u for work that doesnt need doing!
