Hi,
Anyone know where i can get a new door pin and hinge, the half with the bronze mesh bush thingy in it.
Just been told by VW that this part has been obsolete for over 10 years! Looks like i got there too late on that one.

If all else fails i can make a new one but if someones got the bits gathering dust in their garage somewhere...

part no: Hinge   171 831 403 B
              Pin       321 831 421

Thanks Rubjohnny, that may be; but not from my local vw dealer! :angry:

If anyone can confirm this i would be interested to hear.
Dont need the hinges anymore but wouldnt mind knowing if citygate VW are withholding parts. :wink:
