ok, i finally got my mk2 8v running today hoping to take it in to work tomo to get started on the bodywork! trying to get it off the drive proved a bit tricky though as i cant select reverse,its just going straight in to 1st, i took the gearstick gaitor off to make sure when i pushed the stick down it was going under where it should do but still no luck!
hopefully this makes sense to someone on here and any help would be brilliant.
P.s the car was running for about half hr, turned it off and left it for ten mins tried to start it again and the fuel pump wouldnt prime, then ten mins later it did! any ideas again. cheers guys
