Title: Problem with driver's door, cannot be unlocked by key fob.
Post by: goral on 01 November 2022, 17:10
I have a problem in a Golf mk4, today the remote to unlock the doors refused to work.
Until this morning it worked as always, one click driver door, second click all doors.
And now from the remote I can only lock.
I can open the doors manually, but the alarm sounds and goes off when I turn the keys in the ignition.
I should add that for a long time (since I've had the Golf) there have been problems unlocking the doors, as the remote control (key fob) had to be very close to the door to "catch the range".
In another car, the remote works from a hundred metres away.
Error scanning showed the following error: code 00928
Any advice welcome on how to deal with this and what could be the cause!
Thanks

Thanks
Do you have the part number for the driver's front door? (RHD, 5 door)
