I remember someone sayin you can buy sound deadning at a local DIY/garden centre store which is the same stuff as dynamat?

Whats the name and who stocks the stuff?

think it's the same as marley tape, but i've used flashing tape from Wickes, probably about four rolls in the end, isn't really comparable with the likes of dynamat extreme but i think it works really well as a normal dynamat alternative, providing you use a mni roller to 'squash' it into all the contours so its stuck down properly. i layered it up so i ended up with a thickness of about 4 layers on every bit of bare metal i could reach once the boot was stripped out, then rollered it down to about the thickness of two layers. i also did the front doors, rear quarters (really worth doing, cuts alot of road noise and vibrations) and inside the boot hatch where the wiper mech is. overall it worked a treat for the money, although i probably spent about ?70 on it all, it's still less than half the price of dynamat extreme and imo does the job :)
