Do you know what you are on with with the bike carb conversion? A mate of mine is a bike mechanic and he was talking about doing a conversion on mine. I'm not doing it but he knows his stuff and his dad has a bike shop so he has access to cheap parts. Might be worth a chat- he's a local boy

ive got a couple of people that will give me a hand and one of them is supposed to be very good with bike carbs. :cool:
and if it doesnt work i can always put the pierburg back on :sick:

Ian will be able to set them up if not when mines on carbs I'm takin it to a bloke in barnetby to get fine tuned. So we will have to see. Good to know your still thinkin of the carbs. :)

missed a set of 600 bandit carbs that went for £10.50 cos the computer went wrong :angry:

That's abit sh!t that is mate. There will be othersm you could always get it funning on you carbs in the garage and then upgrade to a better set of carbs afterwards

yeah but that means messing about rejetting the carbs and seting the fuel pressure only to take them back off

I suppose but we can rejet the new carbs and bolt up and fuelpressure isn't hard to set. Just getting the mixture right
