hi,
need some help... driving home tonite i took a turn around a corner in 2nd gear released the clutch... heard a kinda snap bang sound ???
engine is fine and gearbox still has all the gears..but when i put it in gear and release the clutch it doesnt take, but instead makes a nasty grating sound.
i reckon the clutch is definately w**Ked...
could there be more damage than just the clutch or release bearing???
is it a big expensive job to fix???
its a h-reg driver 1.6
any help advice would be appreciated :'(

Check that the inner drive shaft cv joints are still bolted to the g/box flanges and the outer cv's are still whole.
