Nice length of cheap trunking painted wall colour to finish the job?

Looks really good that. I have mine mounted above the fireplace. I like it but the wife finds it too high. She wants it back in the corner like yours!

Samsung 40" LED TV mounted onto wall using 'omni mounts' all cables through wall behind for the tidy finish.

Yeah, in two mind about the lower half, either going to box in the whole lower half at an angle across the corner like the TV, then a single peice of trunking going up the wall for the cables, or boxing in the whole corner at the same angle as the TV - but then it might look like the TV is mounted on the 'boxing' or just do it the easy way and trunk up the cables, paint it done... I'd like to go completely cable free and put them in the wall, but that's not an option for me

Good choice of TV, I have the same
I was in two minds on the same mounting, in the end i went for a stronger less mobile mounting as i did not think the bracket would take the leverage to well at full stretch, especially if my monster cat had one of his acrobatic moments

In fact I bought this one at Maplins for a lot less than its advertised now.....

Why isn't it an option?

First job at the new house was the TV. 50" Samsung Plasma. Looks good because it's on like a swivel bracket and it just floats.

No cables.

You tightened up the ball joint? That helped mine.
