So thought it was about time for a long over due update. With work, diy and a workshop move progress has been slow. But some progress has been made. Engine is in!! Only for mock tho.

As i had a whole doner car i decided that i would use pretty much all the engine bay stuff so that it looks as "factory" as possible. Mk4 washer bottle, PAS and header tank fitted,

Also i am goging to be running the standard air box, not wanting a loud car!

Manage to source a complete Mk2 PAS rack and pipe work, car didnt have it but as i now have a pump thought i mite as well fit it. Plus it was only £20!

So next part of the plan is to decide on whether or not to use a Mk4 battery tray and cover, think it will look neater not sure if it will work tho. Gear linkage to fit but that looks fairly straight forward. Also need to source or make using Mk4 clutch pedal a hydrulic clucth system. Plenty to do not enough time!!!
