ABS front loom needed
« on: 24 February 2014, 10:12 »
Guys
I have posted this in Wanted but thought I'd cover it here too. My Son had noticed the ABS light on in his 8V GTI. Read the code which said OSF sensor fault. When I took the wheel off to look, it transpires that the CV boot has self-destructed in a big way and taken the wiring out to the sensor-it's broken just where it enters the plug, so isn't repairable. Anyone got a plug with a length of wire they want to sell so that I can splice it further up??
Also, will soldering a new length in be OK ?
Cheers
Kind regards

John
