I-Pod Touch and RNS510
« on: 31 March 2011, 11:27 »
Hello All,

I updated my I-pod Touch last night and downloaded the new apple software as requested in I-Tunes and a whole bunch of new music was updated on the i-pod itself. When I went to plug it into the MDI interface in the armrest the headunit fails to recognise the device, coming up with a message on the display saing ' MDI - No Device ' yet it is attached correctly and the i-pod is clearly charging?! I tried several times to connect it but it never recognised the unit on my 1 hour drive.

Anyone know a solve or encountered it before or am I looking at a trip to the dealer ... which actually fills me with dread.

Thanks!

Try turning the iTouch off and on again then connect whilst ignition is off

My iPod occasionally does this. Above seems to sort it.
