Doubt that! Dervs need heavy duty clutches because of all the torque

Thought I'd post a bit of blurb about some stuff I've picked up along the way.....

Bolts 902 061 03 - Now £2.11 each
Screws 101 010 01 - Now £0.35 each

My total = £16.97 - remember VAT goes back to 17.5 in 2010 so it'll be a few pence more automatically.

Sachs Clutch £96.49 delivered from www.vwspares.co.uk

Flywheel - pain in the arse to find second hand - I was lucky and got one off ebay for 50 quid, the guy listed it as 1.8T flywheel - cus he broke that car - don't think he realised what he had ;)

Also on the flywheel note in case anybody is wondering when looking for a flywheel - the flywheel is all you need no other bits (other than clutch n bolts) - thanks to Wazzer for confirming.

Anybody looking for a rough labour time estimate - 5 and half hours - this from my local and highly respected VW independent.

I'm all done and installed now

£211 labour in the end - and that was after weeks of searching.  I'd definatley say be realistic about cost if you are unable to fit this yourself.

Mine has cost just short of £400 all in, in the end!

Clutch is lighter now - and its like a new car being able to utilise my 200 horses again ;)

Any1 in Northants area need your kit fitting try Kettering Motorist Centre!

Cheers
