Mine still had lots of sticky marks from the transport pads etc. pretty poor...

Thanks for all the nice comments , I feel a bit of a fool , one minute hating the colour then loving it,but after picking it up it looked a dull as dishwater & not like a £35k car ,God only knows what goes on during a PDI , But I know one thing I'll never let them perp my car again,when I had 2014 gti in for some warranty work the red calipers came back pink.

Well she arrived last weekend, and am over the moon with her....fair chuffed with the Carbon Grey a stunning colour and the only down side i have so far is that I seem to be cleaning it near every second day.....but the end result is well worth it :wink:

@hastd2 Looks beautiful, well wear. Picking up mine on Friday (Carbon Grey as well) and can't wait.

Out of interest, what brand of tyre did you get from the factory? I'm build week 12 so presume I will have got the same.

Its fitted with Bridgestones - Potenza's.... :smiley:

Thanks, seems like all recent GTI's are coming with Bridgestones. :angry:
