My bags have two compartments in them, one which blocks the signal, the other doesn't.  Would yours be the same?

My key also doesn't work when I stand next to the car and try to open it (when the key is in the bag).

Yes mine have 2 compartments, both of which now do f@#k all !!

I’ve read that Faraday bags don’t have an indefinite life, because of the risk of damage to the protective signal blocking layer if they’re used regularly. If tinfoil works, it does suggest yours have become damaged.

I’d replace them, and test them on a regular basis to ensure they’re still working.

I think you are spot on.
I've not tested the bag I keep my spare in just yet but I imagine that one will be fine

A few reviews on Amazon saying similar....maybe down to quality differences between manufacturers? Only had mine couple weeks for our Qashqai but will keep an eye out following your experience.

Tried my spare pouch out just now and it works!
So as suspected, they actually do wear out :shocked:

Ordered a new set of wheels :) decided upon a set of novus 0.1 in 18”. should be here around Tuesday. Can’t wait.
