Following on from my topic about the pancake replacement pipe I have had a reply from Ollie at THS
Thank you for your email, and thank you for the interest in our products.
We tend more to offer discounts to club forums rather than doing group buys. We find it tends to work a bit easier and requires a little less organisation! We do this by offering a discount code to club members which can then be used on our site against your purchase.
We could offer your forum a £10 discount on the PCR pipe on it own.
Kind Regards
Ollie
That works out better as we can buy them at our leisure

does the THS pancake pipe really makes the difference , jabbbasport said the standard pancake pipis not restricted at all and they said they r running a big bhp mk4 with the standard pancake .

You need to ask Patch as I have a Forge pancake pipe which is a different design and is ONLY for diesels

A reply from Ollie...
We have had no issues with tyres catching the pipe. The expansion of the pipe goes towards the engine and not the wheel!. We used to run one of these on our Audi A3 quattro GT30 and that ran RS6 style 18s with 225 40 tyres with no problems
There we go lads, no issues with the wheels catching the pipe.
Put your name below if you want one, I'm ordering mine at the end of the month

Is there going to be a continuing discount for us then? Or is it going to be temporary?...
-
good question mate. I will try and get Ollie to join up and give us his guidance
-
How much difference will this make in the real world to smic efficiency? Enough to cover stage 2 mods do we think?
