All you need to know is this is the audi S3 sngine, and to those that are not familiar with a LCR thats all they need to know too
And what a great engine it is too
If you missed what has already been said in the past, it took me a very very long time to find a AMK or BAM with the miles on i wanted. now i did not give a monkeys if this came from a TT, a LCR or a S3 as long as it met my demands
these were miles on the clock and also it had to be still in the donor car
considered buyin a full S3 to break - most have massive miles
Got lucky with this engine, 40k. came with everything i needed even the clocks and was also offered the S3 clocks too if i wanted which i didnt
i sold the LCR clocks for £80 and i sold some other bits i did not need
i have the engine in my golf i wanted. Its easier to say S3 to people rather than LCR.. (i do know a alot of peopel who are not into cars y'know
, but who are actually interested in the work done)
