Don't get pissy with me! I was just confused hahaha

Eh are you having a giraffe ? I would have thought you were coming across a bit iffy tbh lol

You are asking absolutely stupid things and you know it (or at least I hope u do) haha

If it helps, the engine has no Seat logos on it, just Audi and VW. even the ECU has a VW logo on it (what a surprise)

All the service parts bought  were from a Audi dealer and were S3 parts

The engine is a Audi engine which the LCR borrows

I thought it was a good question as to why.

All you need to know is this is the audi S3 sngine, and to those that are not familiar with a LCR thats all they need to know too

And what a great engine it is too

If you missed what has already been said in the past, it took me a very very long time to find a AMK or BAM with the miles on i wanted. now i did not give a monkeys if this came from a TT, a LCR or a S3 as long as it met my demands

these were miles on the clock and also it had to be still in the donor car

considered buyin a full S3 to break - most have massive miles

Got lucky with this engine, 40k. came with everything i needed even the clocks and was also offered the S3 clocks too if i wanted which i didnt

i sold the LCR clocks for £80 and i sold some other bits i did not need

i have the engine in my golf i wanted. Its easier to say S3 to people rather than LCR.. (i do know a alot of peopel who are not into cars y'know , but who are actually interested in the work done)

hope this helps your confusion

I can appreciate the effort gone into this, and I envy the fact you've got a car which is essentially what I'd like from my MK3. However I don't have the money to do such a thing nor will I for quite a long time.

I don't like the fact you've put an S3 sticker on the dials, in my honest opinion it looks tacky, and regardless of engine coming from S3 or not, the car is still a MK3 on the face of it, you should be proud of that fact and not face it with something it actually isn't.

That being said, looking forward to the respray pics. :afro:

its bad in't it brad

No one has had the pleasure of looking at your car in the flesh like i have and the only thing they can do is pick at a little S3 badge you like

Car is amazing, great interior, great engine, soon to have a great body

and at least you can sleep well at night knowing boldy locks likes it (private joke)
