To be fair, putting S3 badges on a G3 just because it's got a 1.8T engine does look pretty pretentious IMHO.

It's not the engine that makes the car otherwise octavia's and anni's and leons would all have S3 badges on them.

however, the engine in the S3 is much different to that found in Octavia's, annies and normal Cupras. Do ya research bext time

Is it Pretenteous i have Porsche logos on the Porsche rims ?

Is it pretenteous i have Recaro stictched into my Recaro seats ??

 i have already said, this is the ONLY mk3 i would consider owning, but i would remove the wheels for summat true vag not porka

2, paying what he did for the lump to do it.

built the Car to please myself. i never expected everyone to appreciate all the work done or mods that are on it. I guess im not doing too bad if some tiny decals on the clocks are all thats to moan about

I never said it was anything other than my opinion.

It's a tidy car with a lovely engine and I'd be proud to own it.

But obviously, because we are different there are little things that I would have done differently.

lots of differances, even the early S3 engines (APY CODE) have diferences from the later and better AMK / BAM

Im not to familiar with the details of these engines, what are the variances in power output etc?
