Something must be loose at the fusebox. You need to get a meter and do some testing.

on a side note, had to take the car to bens work to make a bracke, and on my travels the car has had its first test, against the car i was going to buy if i was to get a new car - A green Focus RS... at the lights he bottled it, but tried to smoke me on a dual carriage way.. BIG mistake haha, because the golf was stuck to the RS.s tailpipe - his fumes were getting blown it to my car (and their was alot of them so he must have really been giving it some)
He opened his window at the next set of lights asking what i had under my hood, i told him and his reply was "in that old thing" haha, so i asked him to have a little blast off at the lights, guess what. He bottled it
3rd and 4th Gears are unreal!!!!
