They won't 316mm is the biggest you can get behind 16" rims.

312mm set up is really good however, they have lots of feel.

I'd advise making yourself a leak tester for those boost pipes. Jubilee type clamps don't usually clamp hard enough. I had major leaks when I first did mine and was using mikalor type clamps. You need to pressurise it up to around 20psi to make sure its leak free. As that's what a remapped one usually boost at.  :wink:

which type am i best switching to? ill get whatever is best?

Mikalor are the best type. Like these. Just get size you need.

Re cats and MOT requirements, I've heard nothing at work regards moving the date from 92 to 94 so i'm interested to see the outcome  :smiley:


I don't think a semi will give the same results

will be interesting, really hope it passes as id prefere to run no cat.. more power  :evil:

we are gonna finish up fitting the new oil sensors tonight and build front end up fully and tomo ill have the small bit of pipe needed to fit the exhaust and then we will give it the first ever road test. The guys who made the downpipe have very kindly made it for me out of St/ST  - Company is Trackslag.com...  check these guys out

it still feels like a dream mate..

spent a long time planning this to perfection an got a boat load of stick, sly digs and bollox on here for doing so, but i stuck to my guns im glad i did it the way i have because i would not change a thing about the conversion. im over the moon cant imagine what its gonna be like to drive

so much more to come with this car too...
