That looks bloody good and actually belongs in that bay. Top work guys, I'd love one one of these in mine.

My only criticism would be that it appears to be a tad crowded on the right hand side due to the cone filter, battery and washer bottle. Still awesome though.

cheers for the comments, really bloody happy with this, cant believe its all working !! haha, lots more to come from this car in the future.... :lipsrsealed:

looks ok in person, toyed with idea of moving battery or the washer bottle for a mk4 item on the other side because i need cold air to the induction kit and space is tight haha  we will see

One thing at a time, however if you decide to relocate the battery then a BMW E36 would be a good start, you can use the battery cable (its very heavy gauge and long) and the associated distribution block in the engine bay. High quality and cheap enough from a breakers yard :afro:

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Brakes wise

thinking brembo off the Cupra r if they will go behind my 16" (dont think they will)

or some kind of Porker breaks

A few pics of the engine

I believe 312mm is the biggest that will fit behind 16", engine bay looks great , might be worth looking at moving the battery to the boot

Wayne is correct - 312mm will fit behind 16's; Cupra R brakes need 17's at a minimum

Looks awesome

312 mm aren't necessary. Later mk3 288mm with decent pads will do. Will mean you can still fit a 15" spare or the standard gti wheels for the winter etc.
