Well it seems good old VW changed the spec on the pedalboxes from early to late cars 
Just checked 2 later spec cars and yrs tgey are universal, they have the bracket on the side of tge clutch pedal for the hydro cylinder and no stupid strut across the hole in the bulk head!!
Thankfully CCGTI has a later spec pedalbox we can pilfer, happy days 
Just need to remove and re-fit into F17BAD now

been talking to Nick at R Tech, he is telling me i need a Badger5 TIP to get best results, and with this i can expect a genuine 275 / 280 HP

anyone know anything about these or any other TIPs for my engine ??

My new bost gauge turned up today - illuminates white. thats will be changed to BLUE to match my dials. best gauge iv seen. Not a fan of the cheapo ones and this matches my Anniversary clocks perfectly
