dont think so mate, its easier with engine out and dash (how it is at present)but to swap my pedal box for the one on the green car is a mare, so i jut wanna source another hydro box for the black car, and just fit my cable set up, rod exchange etc to the green car.. and plug off the hydro set up (leave it in situ) in the green car 

if all that makes sense

Sounds like the project is well under way and so looking forward to it being finished, few niggles on the way but aint that what its all about, doing something differant, well done kells/ben, keep up the good work

The Jetex are top quality and quiet. I need to get the non res section on mine to make it a bit meatier.  Alot of people say fit is bad. But that's because they don't fit it properly.  :rolleyes:

Well it seems good old VW changed the spec on the pedalboxes from early to late cars  :angry:
Just checked 2 later spec cars and yrs tgey are universal, they have the bracket on the side of tge clutch pedal for the hydro cylinder and no stupid strut across the hole in the bulk head!!
Thankfully CCGTI has a later spec pedalbox we can pilfer, happy days  :grin:
Just need to remove and re-fit into F17BAD now
