for the 02j shifter you need the shifter itself with cables and the 02j gearbox tower. Depends on your 02a box wether its a straight swap or not, the 02j tower is a bit thicker than the early 02a but its the same as the late 02a (I think) not sure how to tell which one you have though If you have the thinner one you need to fit a bigger thing in your 02a (the name of the bit escapes me at the moment lol)

my gearbox is from a 1997 car. so its a late one.. ill leave this to ben to sort... he loves this sort of sh!t

A few Links to what's needed but can Be got from scrap cars cheaper. 02j tower from a 5 speed box. 02j 5speed shifter with cables and cable bracket. I would also go for a TT short shift for around £25. Waiting till I'm able to put it all in mine.

There is another mod for the housing shown in one of the threads below to get it fitting right in a mk3 without any welding.

also, what bracket do people reccomend (if any) to fit a single boost gauge ? 

Depends where you want to mount your gauge. I went dash mount pods and modded them for locations where I wanted them. I didn't want A pillar fast and furious stylee.

Same place where I got my Cat from does this.

Iv ordered my K04 downpipe and my Jetex system, in talks with the americans about my Cat, iv sent them alot of dimensions so im waiting to see what they come back with...

I think the gauges look cool in the vents, saw it on a mk4, looked proper sleeper.



For extra cool points, you could put it behind the slats... they look sweet when they're lit up in there.
