Sounds like someone who's right out of excuses for doing nothing about the engine conversion they've been talking about for what, nearly two years?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

LOL
He obviously isnt as good at reading as he makes out, the point i made about hard taking the car off the road was not said for no reason. Iv never been in no rush, i didnt know it was a race ?

Anyhow, he will see, as will others.
Myself and Ben "Jammin" Victors are doing the conversion and iv already got some bits...

And the car will not get treated to nasty damage and paint defects like your conversions do, and no ECU's will be fried.. yes i can solder

So yeah, just wait and see thomas,

In the meantime:

DONT HATE - PARTICIPATE

DONT BULLSH*T, DO SOMETHING.

A race would involve you doing something more than making a lot of noise, something you've proven is about your only skill.

We'll all await you removing chips from ECUs and replacing them to show off your mad skilz.

And the car will not get treated to nasty damage and paint defects like your conversions do

Yeah, maybe you'll do some of the work yourself, unlike others.

I'm sure no professional outfit has ever chipped paint or broken a clip on a +15 year old indicator repeater.  How that can be replaced, I'll never know.

Easy to take a holier than thou stance when you've done the square root of f*ck all, isn't it?

Iv never had my car damaged any place, not even at quick fit LOL

Damage like that is done by some fool that takes little pride in the work they are doing, hence why id never let a goon like you any place close to my property.

And to be arrogant to certain people’s family members is just plain rude, u may have half this forum hanging out the back of you but its not very professional for a middle aged man to promote pointless crap about a certain member publicly..

and as for soldering surface mount stuff, LOL I have no problems doing that.

Anyhow, this thread is not about that or you/your pathetic ways, But you are correct its taken a while for me to get to this stage, so have a little gold star. But in all honesty i was thinking of getting a new car last year and that’s why my plans were put on hold, not that you should be worrying about what I do or anything. Not all of us publicly announce every part of our life on a forum.

Its clear to see as pointed out youve been talking and thinking about the conversion for some time.As youve mentioned their is no race to do it and of course funding is needed to carry out the work but from looking at your car and the work mods you have done youve never rushed and thats why the car is the standard it is why its such a nice motor.Best thing to do is when you can just crack on with it mate and get posting and prove people wrong either way good luck with it

Cheers guys, much appreciated

i doubt id have sold it tbh, its been too much of a good car, i had the crazy idea of getting a ED30 / new S3 /Focus RS, which would have meant finance and thats something im not into also servicing costs etc, its not like you can rip those sorts of cars to bits on your drive is it, well not if you wanna keep the warranty and service book intact bla bla
