You shouldn't need loctite on the carrier bolts, they are tight.
The caliper bolts need loctite.

Yeah the whole lot had moved, the bolts that are allen key ones which hold the carrier to the car were the ones missing, i also dab a lil sealent on the 2 13mm bolts that hold the caliper centre to the carrier.. if this makes sense

Yeah mate, they are the calliper bolts, which need loctite.

The carrier bolts don't apparently which when thinking  about it most don't.....

As Bellend just said, the caliper bolts need loctite, they are only about 20lb ft.
The carrier bolts(allen heads) are 60ft lb(i might be wrong), but they are tight and don't need loctite.

Correction the carrier bolts are 65nm or about 48lb ft, if tightened with a torque wrench, they shouldn't come loose!!

ahh i see, yeah mate thats what i meant, a bit of confusion their, it was the 2 Allen head bolts which were gone (the ones that dont have locktite as standard)

they very extreeeeeeemly tight around 3 month ago, as i hammered the allen key - to nthe point i was worried id not get them off again , i could no way get my torque wrench in that tight area

So you over-tightened the bolts and stretched the threads, which is why they came loose.

I've had a rear caliper carrier bolt come loose on a test run in my Golf before - makes an almighty racket when it comes loose - every time you let off it goes 'clonk' into the wheel.  You must have had some bangin' choons on in your car not to notice it happening.

As for progressively thinning your coolant down to water through winter oop norf.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
