i had this in the m3 and the 530D my mate just got, looks really cool, epecially at nite, but its wired to the ignition so its on all the time 

be a bit hard to get a pic of the way it illuminates the cubbyhole area, but it just shines a very subtle light down that area without scattering the beam, i has to place the leds a certain way to do this,did a blue illuminated one also but much too bright for my likes

i dunno what other cars have them, the audis iv been n dont nor does the mazdas (2 x RX8's) but i just saw it in the bmw and liked the idea 

the badge was done using carbon wrap and my GF's hair dryer, i first removed it from the backing rubber which is glued via the pins on the rear, i then re glued this part after


also did a spare rear spoiler but thats not gonna see my car

  First time I clocked it was in a dub, I had a mk5 golf with 2 red led's, My Mazda 6 has them in blue but they are a subtle blue

i tried blue but way too bright for what i wanted, and it was a distraction too, the subtle blue u have sounds cool

im off for test drive in a mk 6 GTI this week so ill see if that has them    they are handy i must admit

Yeah the blue works in the MAZ, funny though as all the instruments are the same colour as BM, amber, but there is one blue multi function oval light in the middle of the stereo and then the blue ambient lighting like yours....

MK6 has them.
