if you wanted to meet up, y'know what, i would do my best to meet you if we were to sort things out face to face..

What is there to 'sort out'

I can't teach you reason and objectivity in one face to face meeting.

As the saying goes - you can't educate pork.

You're all hot air.

Now hurry up with the BAM conversion (scene victim) and build something worth talking about.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

Don't dismiss it like that, you poor wounded soldier.

I have no idea what 'sort out' means 'on the street'.

Man-up and come to Combe.

It'll cost me a helluva lot more than you.

but if horney was at the lights (or any other mk 2 gti) he would put the foot down and smoke him, unless said mk 2 had some modifield modern converted engine swap

I'm not gonna spam your thread loads etc but I just felt the need to point out that the age of engine has nothing to do with performance. Old engines can modified to produce big big power as well as modern engines. It just involves less messing about with laptops and more messing about with powertools. The fastest street legal car in the world runs a Chevy V8 which dates from the 1950's.

Modern engines are great, especially FI ones as they are easy to wind the boost up and get good numbers. Old engines are good as well and one thing which they have going for them for the home modifier is they are much simpler to maintain and fault diagnose. Horses for courses and all that.
