Standard clutch and turbo
«

Hi all. I’ve been contacting various tuners about a stage 1 map and I’ve had differing answers regarding the clutch and turbo. My car is a manual and most tuners are saying the clutch will slip nearly immediately and others say the is20 turbo may give up! I’m stumped!
Any advice please?

Clutch most likely will need an upgrade. You can get low torque maps for the manual, I'm looking into it myself, but realistically a upgraded clutch is needed.
I've not read anything about the IS20 being weak for stage 1, with a decent map.

Thanks for the reply..
looks like a clutch upgrade for me
I'm hoping to go to either badger 5 or R tech tuning for a map as i've read some great things about them
