Cant Select Track in Album (Folder)
« on: 22 September 2023, 09:56 »
Hi All,

A funny one with my MIB2 unit.

I can’t select tracks in a folder, which contains a mix of mp3 and m4a file types. The types play fine, but I can't for example from the photo, select the second track (#302) by touching the screen, or pressing the right rotary selector. I can scroll the screen via touch and scroll down the tracks with the right hard rotary knob, but can’t make a track play.

I have to skip to the end of the playing track, to access the next track.

File folder structure is Artist (Folder) > Album (Folder) > track.m4a

Cheers!

Might need rebooting. It's happened to me where the screen started acting up, so just press and hold the power button until it "pops" through the speakers (15ish seconds) and then the unit will reboot itself. Seemed to solve my problem in the past.

Ah, good advice Agreeable Slick!

I tried a couple of times, and alas, no change.

My WeConnect app will no longer connect too since (it seemms) the reboot! I authenticate, the app shows connecting to the car, then errors with "You have been logged out for security reasons. Please log in again."

I have deleted the app, reinstalled etc, andcan log in via a browser, but the app wont play ball...
