I've downloaded the station logos from VW site in readiness. As I understand it you you allocate the logos to each station manually and then can remove the SD card. Thats suggests the logos are held in the cars internal memory.

How many station logos can the car hold in memory??

You'd certainly get that onto a 4GB, SDHC card, but an 8GB won't cost much more and will give you scope for adding more. (You will want to!)

15 stations can be stored for each of DAB, FM & AM - you can assign a logo to each so 45 in total.

Hi guys, with regards to the SD card or USB stick, whats better to use? Or is it simply just personal preference? I generally use mini usb sticks for normal use, so i was just going to use one of them.

I've seen a 64gb Sandisk mini usb stick for £23.95  -  BARGAIN!!

I believe you don't get a USB connection unless you have spec'd the discover nav system.

I'm struggling a little with one part of this, I have done the station logos no problem other than having to format to fat32 as per one of the comments under the blog post. Now onto music and using media player have got music to the SD card but no album artwork. The artwork is showing on the media player on my PC. appreciate any ideas anyone has to assist?
