'Seams' like a good idea
« on: 01 August 2010, 22:08 »
On the inside of the doors on my Mk2 the 'seams' where the external skin is folded over the internal skin there is some sort of sealant. I have had to remove some of it from one corner to get at and clean up some rust. Question is - do I need to replace it? And if so, with what?

Cheers.

You need a PU based seam sealer, cartridge type, to be applied with a cartridge gun... this type of thing

Thanks Thom - you're a star - have sourced some PU at various places.

Cheers
