I gave it a quick clean after the Grand Prix this afternoon, mainly to get a better idea of the condition of the paint. Overall it is very good with only a few stone chips and small scuffs, it is covered in swirl marks though. I've set aside Wednesday to give it a full detail/machine polish to hopefully rectify this :smiley:



Lets see if the eagle eyed amongst us can spot this afternoons addition to the car:

Well spotted, pinched from the MK3 along with the nearly new wheel bolt covers I had on it :grin:

Gonna get myself some more trim tape over the next couple of days and pinch the plate surrounds as well :cool:

On a side note I put all the codes from inside the service book into a decoder and one of the options that came back was front and rear sports suspension, is that standard on a MK4 gti or was it actually an upgrade?? If it was an upgrade i'd hate to feel what the standard performs like :grin:
