H41ly, I have a genuine VW TCR diffuser I may be selling. It's been professionally painted along the top edge in textured satin finish to match the GTi sideskirts and front. Let me know if this is something you may be interested in.

JB73, Car looks fantastic.

Can you send me a picture of it to see what it looks like

I’ve looked at the side skirts also but they are quite expensive over £400 for each side

Yeah, I can imagine! I wanted to go down the OEM route for my GTI mods but the genuine parts are all expensive from what I’ve seen if you’re getting them new from VW. Will have to keep searching for third party copies.

The rear valance is a pattern one but the sideskirts are genuine VW but they are very expensive for what they are

With 13500 Miles now on the clock it was time to ditch the Bridgestone's and wow i wish i had done it sooner.

Went for the Goodyear Asymmetic 6  225/40/18 92y after checking out some reviews and they are 👍👍👍

The price was quite attractive as well at £328.77 for 4 inc fitting at National Tyres.

There is a standard 15% when you buy 4 but in the apply discount code box there is a 20% code you can add.

I prefer the gloss black too, I’ve fitted the tcr skirts, rear valance and front splitter, also had the mirrors done gloss black. The rear valance was only a pattern one from eBay but doesn’t look any different than the genuine one. The side skirts were a bit more involved to fit as the support rail underneath them is in a slightly different place than on the original skirts so couldn’t use the existing mounting holes for that. The skirts themselves are double sided tape along the top edge and underneath they fit into existing mounting holes in the body

When you were looking at the TCR side skirts and rear valance, did you find good third party ones? I had a look at Voko who I believe did your front splitter but I couldn’t see that they did any of the others.

And by posting articles like this or links all it does is give more scumbags the headsup that they are easy to steal and worth a lot of money, when they had never realised! so probably not the best idea to keep posting links really.

All that does imo is get the thefts to be more common as more dodgy people read this too!

From our point of view unless our cars are garaged 24 7 nothing we can do to stop it anyway so only people it helps is the people who make money from stuff they steal.

Isn’t that “Golf” lady standing in front of a Passat??
And if thefts have been recorded since 2017 that would involve the Mk7 radar which was very different?
And finally, can you really just undo 3 screws and ouch the badge/sensor????

I'm about 2000 miles in on a set of Goodyear F1A6's and I'm not happy with the noise from them.

current car and the last 2 cars have been on the same size tyres. I've been through F1A3, F1A5 and PS4.
These F1A6's are noticeably noisier.

That's surprising as reviews I've seen have suggested that they are slightly quieter than PS4.

I'll be replacing my fronts (PS4) soon and I was considering the AS6.
