not yet mate, but i actually had a 20vt N/A engine here which we swapped with a turbo unit for a customer.. but he has gone and got rid of the bloody engine!!!!

gutted! they are quite hard to get hold of i think... who wants to sell just the cams out of their engine

Scrap yards for this for a very front end damaged car

I want to know how much of an advantage these actually have, otherwise for the price aftermarket ones may be a better options.

I know for a long type the european tuning sites had been running 240+bhp on a k03s, not to long ago nick achieved this as its easily possible. I know with the cams and a bunch of other mods a european tuner hit 260bhp with the k03s maxed out with very hard evidence, but it is running race fuel which is higher than 99ron.

I'll pm him or post on the ECU forums to see if there is any info on these cams.

Thanks mate

Roof liner is the early GTI / VR6 spec

Do have a set of black grab handles and have been considering doing the liner black but still not decided

Right gonna bump this up again as I'm sending my 02J gearbox away this coming week to have it fully rebuilt, Vr6 Final drive and the Wavetrac Limited Slip diff

over the last week or so iv been tweaking things here and their

Decided to refurb another alternator i got hold of (same as the one i already have fitted - 120amp S3 / TT type)
rather than Black, i thought id go for a OEM Silver finish, i did a complete strip down of this and cleaned a lll the copper parts inside too so it basically looks brand fire new... id say better than one you can buy

any how some pics

this is the Alternator i got as a spare to refurb

got busy stripping it down

used the Jetwash on this part came up like new

Silver, OEM look

all back together

proceeded to strip down the car - also had a leak on the radiator somewhere, so this was a chance to fix this issue too
Turns out that was just a loose Temp sensor, quick tighten up of that and it was fixed

also took this chance to fit my recently refurbished Aux belt tensioner

Next updates will be fitting of the Wavetrac Limited Slip Diff

I was so gutted that I never got to see this car at Harewood last year. I drove my missus mad dragging her round trying to find it . I swear, every time I look at the pictures of this car it gets cleaner and cleaner. Good work dude!!
