Never been keen on that idea, is it really a good idea to advertise what engine you have to low lifes etc.

Bonnet off was just a laugh. Everyone knew I broke down and it was off the road with the engine out, so had to come back in style. I tried convincing people it was legal - didn't sell :D

Talking about second bonnet's; I still have my old rusty checker bonnet! :D

Anyway! Finally got the gear selector adjusted today and also adjusted the throttle and clutch cables and its much better to drive now. Feels nicer to shift and I do prefer the diesel box I think, has really tamed the car so its more driveable and torque doesn't come on so aggressive. Its still quick, but needs a drop down in gear to get going properly. I like it though, much better for a daily drive.

Also, the new rims and tyres make it feel much nicer to drive :)

Plans now:
- Find some new front seats!
- New mats
- False floor/boot build + boot light!
- Chassis notch
- Yellow tint inner lights
- Smoke tint fog blanks
- Perhaps get round to retrimming interior!!!
- Now I'm just thinking of stuff to fill the list cause it feels like I should have LOADS to do. Not used to having a night where the car doesn't require attention! :D

I'm not too sure i like that.."tamer"...that's not how i like to remember it!

Looks fapping awesome though! Is that a gold bay with purple engine?  Loving the wheels too

I can see why you prefer the box though, i will for ever name your gear changes "Slam in, slam out!"

Will have to get over and see this again!!
