Cheers bud, I just want to get it back together asap and get it back on the road.

Only thing I don't have is wheel bolts, need longer ones. Can get them no worries though.

Its all back together, except not ready yet lol.

Fitted the Mk4 shift setup, but cant run the tower cause of the cable clutch setup. So fit the Mk3 cables and tower to the Mk4 shifter. It doesn't work and I know why. The cable guides aren't fixed so the gearstick doesn't do a lot at the box end.

I have sourced a Rado G60 shifter so should be sorted asap.

Only issue now is, I'm missing a locking wheel nut bolt and I need it otherwise I'm only running 3 bolts for one wheel!

Sorted. Test drive was a success tbh. The shifter weight fell off, but that's all that went wrong lol.

Other issues that became apparent on the test:
- Driveshaft is rubbing the chassis leg 90% of the time; notch?
- Throttle is a little sticky, holds at 2k sometimes; grease it up!
- Gearing needs a slight bit more adjustment and the weight needs to be refitted using a longer bolt and a spring washer!

Now running a ASD code 02A box from a Mk3 TDI. Wow the gears are a lot longer, but I think its better suited to my driving and when I can cruise at 70 and be rolling at 2.5k, well that's awesome!

Here's some piccies!!!

Cool man, its sounds more aggressive, but thats probs cause no bonnet and no gearstick gaitor.

Car much more tame with the diesel box, dont know if i like it or not. Probs better for the car, the tyres and the fuel bill, but less fun lol.
