Does it still mean I'm part of the gentry if i'm pulling abs plastic out of it and not buck shot?  :embarrassed:

I think Wills is a 7.5 so has the radar in the VW badge so no big cut out in the lower grille.

Added a dog guard to the versatile GTI for occasional use. They really do most things well. Sorry to those who responded to my wanted add for the Travel All. I didn’t see the replies until after I bought mine. 🤦‍♂️

I now need to fit a Trav All bumper protector. It looks fairly discrete. Any alternative suggestions for a protector?

My boot liner has a flap that comes down to cover the bumper when the dog gets in/out.

I also put a dog bed in the back with another flap.

This is the bed I have

TravAll guard is great: got one off FB for £50, no rattles at all.
Previous Dubs now sold:

Thanks 245 I got the part number for it ( 5G0853677AF ) , just need to ring my local VW trying to decide whether if I can be bothered removing the grill myself or not, as the lower section is a bit of a pig to unclip.

Prices for this part seem to range from £70 up. Here’s the cheapest I could find.

A lot of the time I've noticed parts direct from VW are cheaper than ebay, always better building a relationship with your local dealership then giving the business to someone in a different country

Wanted some 19s as not a huge fan of the original 18s, and they're starting to get whiteworm ingress on the edge of the blades.

Diamond cut means brescia and Santiago weren't an option. Looked at Prets but they are so expensive and I'd be worried about their reputation for softness.

Ended up going with some Bola B16 19x8.5 ET45 with Goodyear Eagle Asy5 235/35

Theyre a similar wheel style to the Prets but much cheaper! Also looking forward to seeing how the tyres impact the handling coming from the Bridgestones on the stock wheels.

Will put proper pics up tomorrow once they're on!
