Title: hi (1989 valver)

Hi,

I have been the owner of a 1989 16v for a bout 8 weeks now.

I brought it for ?425 with 9 month mot, it needed new brakes, electric window and a few bita an bobs but is a good car with only 130,000 miles on the clock.

Its been lowered with springs/shocks, nice exhaust, big bumers, central locking, tinted lights all round and lots of little extras. the car is an ex club gti car but no one seems to recognise it.

hey sweet, welcome to golfgti.

sounds like u got a real bargain there.  my cab was a clubgti car also but not recognised funnily enough.  i guess people dont stay in the club very long with such high rates. where r u based??

Hi mate, i think you got a good bargain there, hope i can find a bargain like it!, ill keep looking.

Anyway i hope you have a good experience like i av had so far on the forum. it's the best.
